Recovery Ministries of the Diocese of New Jersey

Is pleased to invite one and all to our 2nd annual

Recovery Sunday Celebration

Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m.

Trinity Cathedral, Trenton

Celebrant: The Rt. Rev. George Councell Bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey

Preacher: The Rt. Rev. Mark Hollingsworth, Jr. Bishop of the Diocese of Ohio

Bishop Hollingsworth is a true renaissance man whose hobbies and interests include music, antique car restoration and ice hockey (he plays goalie). Many of us were privileged to meet him as he offered himself to our own Episcopal search process in 2003. At that time he shared, "Perhaps my most significant spiritual experience has been 17 years of recovery as an alcoholic,,,Sobriety has been a vehicle through which God has taught me how little of life is within my power to control, how great is my responsibility for that which is, and how the rest I must surrender in trust to God. It's a learning that has yet to let me down." After more than two decades in recovery, Bishop Hollingsworth has a most compelling message of hope and new life to share.

All are welcome: recovering alcoholics, addicts, family members, friends & advocates.

Share the good news with AA, NA, Alanon, Alateen and all the 12-step groups that meet in our congregations.

Come and be blessed.
